Dear Parents and Carers,
Following site inspections last night and again this morning, regrettably, I have decided to close the school to all learners and staff.
During the night, temperatures have dipped as low as -6 degrees and remain low at this time. Currently, local roads, pavements, and the school site are simply too dangerous to allow cars and pedestrians to access.
Obviously, I am aware this will be inconvenient, and for this, I apologise. However, ensuring everyone stays safe and well is always a priority. I hope you understand, that closing the school is a very hard decision to take but one which I believe is right today. Many of our local schools (Haverfordwest area) have also decided to close.
